5-Stage Charge- 1. Prequalification Test Stage: Tests a minimum of three areas before charging begins. If a problem is detected, charging is terminated.
- 2. Constant Current Stage: Battery is charged with full-rated output current.
- 3. Constant Voltage Stage: Regulated voltage “equalizes” individual battery cells, resulting in full charge delivered to the battery.
- 4. Maintenance Stage: Charger will trickle charge battery at low voltage to maintain full charge.
- 5. Recycle Charge Stage: Every 84 days, charger restarts cycle to refresh batteries in storage.
